The first step would be to choose an agreed photo shoot date and time that works for you. Light is so important so pending the time of the day may determine where is the best location is for you.

Once the above is agreed I will ask you to pay a £50.00 non-refundable deposit to confirm your date.

I will then send you written confirmation of your booking along with some tips of what to wear and what to bring on the day. We can also discuss if you have any specific poses you wish to capture or ideas you want to try and how we can make the most of your photo session.

The balance of your shoot is due in full 7 days prior to the confirmed session date.



            I aim to be at the location before you arrive.

We can then have chat about the plans for the photo session and I will take a few test shots and then we can ease into a fun and relaxed day.

If you have young children if maybe worth bringing snacks, toys and a spare change of clothes just in case.

During the photo shoot, to keep it as natural as possible, I will give you some direction to make sure we get the best out of your surroundings and light we have to work with.

I may have you play games, tell jokes, jump and cuddle to bring some smiles and laughter and help you relax.



            I know you will likely be excited to get your photos as soon as possible. You should receive these within 14 days of the shoot date. I will email you a link to your online gallery with a download PIN. This link can be shared with family and friends as well.

Your online gallery will have the selected edited images from the day, which are high res digital files.

If you wish to order prints through me – we can discuss which images and sizes you would like and I can quote a price for these which will include delivery. Once payment has been received for the prints I will place your order.

Prints usually take approx. 3 weeks but times can vary.



Please be aware if you cancel your booking outright you will lose your £50.00 non-refundable deposit. You are able to cancel and reschedule a new shoot if you are ill or unable to make the original session.


Where are you based?

I am based in the picturesque town of Midhurst within the South Downs National Park in West Sussex. I cover Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire and I am happy to travel up to 15 miles without additional charge from this location. Beyond this radius will incur a small fee to cover extra travel costs.

How do I book?

Simply email me on or call me on 07787556475 and I can explain the booking process to you. I ask for a £50.00 non refundable deposit, once this has been received your date will be confirmed.

Where do the photo shoots take place?

I shoot outdoors, and can recommend a selection of locations within the Three Counties. You may have a favourite woodland or place that you would like to shoot at or I can make some recommendations.

What will I need to wear to my photo shoot?

Bright, bold solid colours work best. I would try and co-orindate your outfits where possible. Try and avoid logo’s and busy patterns. Most important is to feel comfortable. On booking confirmation I will send you a more thorough guide.

Do I need to bring anything?

It depends on the set up of the shoot. For younger families I would recommend snacks and maybe a change of clothes for babies just in case. If you have a blanket and toys that can be helpful too. However I can give you further guidance once we have agreed a location.

What happens if the weather turns bad?

Photographing on overcast days actually works really well with the light and windy days can add some beautiful movement to the images. However if the weather does turn wet and unpleasant we can reschedule for another day.

What happens if we have to cancel?

If you need to cancel due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, please let me know as soon as possible and we’ll reschedule your session at your convenience.

How long with you photograph for?

My mini sessions last approx. 30 minutes and my Standard package I will shoot up to 90 minutes.

How does the online gallery work? 

I will send you can email with a link to access your online gallery. This can be fully downloaded using a PIN which I will give to you as well. You will then be able to view the image selection from your shoot. If you wish I can order print for you too from my preferred professional printing lab.
